Apple - iMac G5 - Software

I loose. No remote, no new media center software. Just a 2D eMac. Zzzzzz.

I don't know about you, but when i envision my iLife, i imagine it with a bigger screen and a thinner bezzel. Although at $1900 for a 20" it's not totally outragous. Particularly if you were thinking about throwing down $2800 for a 17" powerbook. With the small desktop foot print and wide screen aspect ratio, i expect this is going to eat some powerbook sales.

Altec Lansing iMmini

It's funny how accessories can change your perception of a product. This makes me really want an iPod mini. I have no idea why.

Candy Bar-Sized Bluetooth PC

The 200ax-bt is a a low-power 200MHz computer running the Linux 2.6.0 kernel with webserver and remote login and power management circuity on-board. Integrated Bluetooth USB, serial, sound, and LCD controller all for only $184!

$200 MHz is not a lot, but it would definately be enough to play soome some fun bluetooth proximity games. I'm sure someone with way more free time than i have will create a really neat system out of these.

Bush at Unity Conference

We actually misnamed the War on Terror. It ought to be the Struggle Against Ideological Extremists Who Do Not Believe in Free Societies Who Happen to Use Terror as a Weapon To Try To Shape The Conscience Of The Free World.

And this lengthy sound bite also reveals a real rift between Bush and some of his supporters. Apparently, 9/11 is sort of incidental to his foreign policy -- the hijackers just "happen to use terror as a weapon." Like they picked up some airplane tickets at the checkout stand or something. Whether or not they use terror, it's the "ideological extremists who hate free societies" that Bush has a problem with, and in that case, we look forward to his upcoming invasion of the Justice Department.

Citizen Alterna

I've been looking for a watch for a while, and i think this might be the one for me. It's got a bajillion dials but doesn't seem to be overly large. I dig it.
